The program and assignments throughout my program study have helped shape me into a leader by promoting holistic, cultural, business, and healthcare foundation. These strengths will help me manage business, lead people, and grow into a leader. The professional nursing standards as highlighted by AONL Nurse Manager Competencies demonstrate the competencies I have taken away from my program. Through my instructors, assignments, and paper I have learned to manage from a financial concept, human resource management, performance improvement, and clinical practice knowledge. I have also grown on my leadership goals such as holding both personal and professional accountability and career planning. Becoming a leader also involves leading people and growing on my learning skills such as relationship management, influencing staff behaviors, and sharing in decision making. The assignments below reflect the growth I've made and education I have received in my degree program.
